It is a relatively long peptide (roughly 48 residues, including an N-terminal cell-penetrating import motif) with a molecular weight in the several-thousand-g/mol range. Because every residue is D-configured, its chromatographic and spectral behavior is distinctive but also easy to get wrong — an incorrectly built (partly L-configured or truncated) sequence is a different molecule. It is sold strictly on the research market with no regulated identity or content guarantee, which is exactly why independent verification is worthwhile.

It does not measure stereochemistry (D vs. L) or the retro-inverso arrangement itself — that requires orthogonal techniques such as mass spectrometry and chiral analysis, which are outside our scope.
