The lab
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Trading name | KMD Analytical |
| Legal name | KMD Group LLC, of which KMD Analytical is a division |
| What it is | An independent, third-party analytical testing laboratory. It does not manufacture, sell, prescribe or recommend any compound. |
| Address | 9631 Topanga Canyon Pl, Chatsworth, CA 91311, USA |
| Phone | (818) 743-7435 |
| info@kmdanalytical.com | |
| Office hours | Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Pacific |
| Website | kmdanalytical.com: one word, no hyphen. It is the lab's only website. Look-alike domains are not KMD's. |
What we test
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Samples | Research-grade peptide samples in sealed vials, and bacteriostatic water. The current list is on peptides we test. |
| Method | Reversed-phase HPLC with UV detection (RP-HPLC-UV). |
| Instrument | Agilent 1260 Infinity II HPLC with diode-array detection. Peptides are detected at 214 nm, with full-spectrum peak confirmation. |
| Identity | Retention-time and UV-spectral match against a certified reference standard. Where no certified standard exists for a compound, a characterized reference material is used instead. |
| Purity | Chromatographic purity: the area % of the main peak. |
| Content | Net-peptide content: the measured milligrams of peptide per vial. The specification is at least 90% of the label claim, with no upper limit. |
| Blends | Each active is reported on its own row (identity, purity, mg per vial) on one certificate. |
| Also reported | Appearance, on every certificate at no charge. |
What we do not test or claim
The full statement is on the Scope of Services page.
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Tests not offered | No LC-MS or any other mass spectrometry, NMR, sequencing, sterility, endotoxin, heavy metals (ICP-MS), residual solvents, aggregate/dimer (SEC) or biological-activity testing. |
| Materials refused | Controlled substances of any schedule (KMD holds no DEA registration); somatropin / human growth hormone; testosterone, anabolic-androgenic steroids and SARMs. Out-of-scope material is returned or destroyed without analysis. |
| Regulatory status | KMD is not FDA-registered and does not perform GMP release testing. It is not a clinical laboratory and does not test human or animal specimens. |
| What a result means | A certificate reports analytical findings on the submitted sample only. It is not a determination of safety or fitness for any use, and not an endorsement of the client's product. |
Prices
| Order | Price per vial (USD) |
|---|---|
| 1–4 vials | $150 |
| 5–9 vials | $125 |
| 10 or more vials | $100 |
| Blend vial | Vial rate +50% for each active beyond the first |
| Bacteriostatic water | $75 flat |
The best tier applies to every vial on the order. A blend counts as one vial. Add-ons and the full rate card are on the pricing page.
Turnaround
| Service | Turnaround | Surcharge |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 8–10 business days, 15 business days maximum | Included |
| Rush | 4 business days, on orders up to 4 vials | +50% on the order total |
Counted in business days from the day the lab logs the sample in at intake, or from payment if that comes later; shipping time is separate. These are estimates, not guarantees (see the terms).
Sending samples
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| How samples arrive | By mail, with any carrier; no signature is required. Drop-off in person is by prior arrangement only. |
| Before you ship | Place the order on the order form, one line per vial, and pay the invoice. The shipping steps follow by email. |
| Packing | Write your 6-character KMD order number on the outside of the package. Send sealed vials only, each labeled with its compound and strength. Mark identical vials 1 and 2. |
| On receipt | Each vial is photographed when it is logged in. Samples are consumed in testing and are not returned. |
Certificates and verification
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| What you receive | One certificate of analysis per vial, emailed as a sealed PDF as each vial is completed (see a sample certificate). |
| Who issues it | Every certificate is reviewed, signed and sealed by the lab's authorized signatory. None is issued automatically. |
| What it carries | Certificate ID, QR code, client or brand name, batch ID, the client's lot number if given, dates received and analyzed, each result with its specification and status, an overall “Conforms” or “Does not conform” line, the HPLC chromatogram and the vial's intake photo (when attached), signature and date of issue. |
| Seal | A SHA-256 hash: a fingerprint of the exact PDF. Any change to the file breaks the match. A withdrawn certificate no longer verifies. |
| How to verify | Anyone can check a certificate at kmdanalytical.com/verify. Entering the certificate ID or scanning the QR code confirms KMD issued it. Dropping in the PDF also confirms the file is unaltered. A certificate that “verifies” on any other domain is counterfeit. |
