Peptide testing lab in Los Angeles County.
KMD Analytical is an independent peptide testing lab in Chatsworth, in the San Fernando Valley. The lab and its HPLC are at one address, and that is where your vial is tested.
Getting a sample to the lab
Samples arrive by mail or courier; drop-off in person is by prior arrangement. Place your order and pay the invoice first, write the order number on the outside of the package, and send sealed vials to the address above. Any carrier works and no signature is required, so a carrier can deliver outside office hours. Turnaround starts when the lab logs the box in, not when the carrier marks it delivered. Packing and labeling steps are on the submission page.
We do not quote a delivery time. That depends on the carrier you choose.
What happens when the box arrives
Each vial is photographed as it arrived and logged in against your order, and you get a “sample received” email at that point. Turnaround is counted from receipt: typically 8–10 business days, 15 business days maximum. Rush is 4 business days from receipt on orders up to 4 vials, for +50% on the order.
Each vial is tested by HPLC against a reference standard for three results: identity, purity, and the milligrams of peptide in the vial. The analyst reviews and seals each certificate before it is emailed, vial by vial as each is finished. Our guide to how third-party testing works covers each step. What we measure is on the peptide testing service page.
What being nearby changes, and what it does not
- The trip is short. A package from the Los Angeles area does not have far to go.
- The test is the same. Where a vial comes from does not change the method or the certificate. The California page walks through the mail-in steps.
- The price is the same. $150 per vial for 1–4 vials, $125 for 5–9, and $100 for 10 or more. The pricing page has the full menu.
Checking a certificate
Every certificate carries an ID and a QR code, and the lab keeps a SHA-256 fingerprint of the sealed PDF. Anyone can check it at kmdanalytical.com/verify: the certificate ID shows that KMD issued it, and dropping in the PDF shows that the file has not been changed. What the lab does and does not test is on the scope page; the full list is under peptides we test.
