KMD Analytical is an independent lab in Chatsworth, California. We do not sell peptides, so we have no stake in a result.

What each certificate reports

Each vial is tested by reversed-phase HPLC with UV detection against a reference standard:

• Identity: whether the vial matches the standard for the labeled compound.
• Chromatographic purity: the main peak as a percentage of total peak area.
• Content: the milligrams measured in the vial, beside your label claim.

Results are checked against the specifications printed on the certificate, which carries an overall “Conforms” or “Does not conform” line, the chromatogram and the vial's intake photo when attached. See a sample certificate, how to read a peptide COA, the peptides we test and our lab facts.

How your brand and lot appear on the certificate

The order form has one line per vial. Where each certificate detail comes from:

Your entries print as supplied; the lab does not verify them. A sealed certificate cannot be edited, including the name, so type your brand exactly as it should print. Mark identical vials 1 and 2, as the submission page explains.

How your customers check a certificate

Every certificate has a unique ID and a QR code that opens the live certificate on kmdanalytical.com. At kmdanalytical.com/verify anyone can type the ID, and can drop in the PDF as well. The file is hashed in their browser and compared with the SHA-256 hash recorded when the lab sealed it, so an altered PDF fails.

To refer a customer to a result, show or link the unaltered certificate and its ID beside the lot, and link the lab's check for that ID: kmdanalytical.com/verify?id=YOUR-CERTIFICATE-ID. That page confirms the certificate is genuine and links to the full certificate, so your customer reads the lab's record, not your copy. More in how to verify a peptide COA.

Volume pricing and turnaround

The best tier on the pricing page applies to every vial on the order automatically.

A vial with more than one active gets one certificate with a row per active, costs the vial rate plus 50% for each extra active, and counts as one vial toward the tier. Some combinations cannot be separated reliably; send us the compound list before you ship. Standard turnaround is typically 8–10 business days, 15 business days maximum, counted from receipt of your vials at the lab. Rush is 4 business days for +50% on orders up to 4 vials; larger rush batches are quoted by arrangement.

What a certificate will and will not say

• It reports what we measured, pass or fail. The fee is the same either way.
• It describes the one vial we received, not other vials, lots or batches.
• It covers identity, purity and content by HPLC, not sterility, endotoxin or heavy metals. It is not GMP release testing or a finding of safety or fitness for any use, and KMD is not FDA-registered. See our scope.
• It is never issued in the name of a company that did not submit the vial.

Using our name and your results

The rules are in section 10 of our terms. In short:

• You may share an unaltered certificate PDF or its link.
• You may say a specific vial or lot was tested by KMD Analytical only if you show or link the unaltered certificate and its ID and limit the statement to that vial or lot.
• You may not alter, crop, re-brand, translate or excerpt a certificate, or present it as covering another vial, lot, batch or product.
• You may not use our logo or marks, call anything “KMD certified”, “KMD approved”, “KMD verified” or similar, or imply that we test your products routinely or vouch for your products, business, sourcing or manufacturing.
• You may not use our name or a certificate in any claim to consumers about safety, dosing, effects, or human or animal use.

Misuse a certificate and we may withdraw every certificate issued to you and refuse future orders. A withdrawn certificate no longer verifies.
