What BPC/KPV is
BPC/KPV is a two-active vial carrying BPC-157 and KPV together, most commonly labelled as a 10/10 mg split. The pair is analytically lopsided: BPC-157 is a 15-residue peptide with conventional reversed-phase behaviour, while KPV is a three-residue fragment of α-MSH — small, polar, and early-eluting — so the method has to hold a well-retained peak and a barely retained one in the same run and quantify each against its own standard. A single purity figure for the vial would say nothing about either. Our certificate leads with the name on your label and prints the two actives beneath it, each with its own results row.
Why get your BPC/KPV independently tested
- Split verification: the label declares a per-active recipe. Each active gets its own identity, purity, and content line, so a short or absent KPV cannot hide behind a healthy BPC-157 peak.
- KPV is easy to leave out: at 10 mg of a cheap tripeptide, KPV is the component a careless or dishonest fill skips. Identity against a KPV reference standard settles whether it is there at all.
- Content on a tiny molecule: KPV is roughly 340 Da, so small mass errors are large percentages of its claim. The per-active net-peptide assay reports its measured milligrams against label.
- Label mass versus peptide mass: across two actives, counter-ion and water weight accumulate. Per-active content separates peptide from packaging for each compound.
What we measure on BPC/KPV
A BPC/KPV certificate reports, for EACH of the two actives, by reversed-phase HPLC with diode-array detection at 214 nm: identity (retention-time and UV-spectral match against that compound's own certified reference standard), chromatographic purity as area percent, content in milligrams per vial, and retention time — one vial, one certificate, one verification code, two fully reported compounds. Appearance and optional pH are reported at the vial level.
Every result is issued as a certificate of analysis you — or anyone you forward it to — can verify cryptographically. Our scope — stated plainly
Testing is RP-HPLC-UV against certified reference standards for each declared active — not mass spectrometry. The certificate reports the actives declared on your label; it does not de-novo identify unlabelled compounds. KMD Analytical is an independent laboratory; we do not perform sterility, endotoxin, heavy-metal, or residual-solvent testing.
KMD is an independent RP-HPLC-UV lab. We do not run LC-MS / mass-spec, sterility, endotoxin, or heavy-metal testing. If your job needs a capability we don't have, we'll say so.
BPC/KPV testing — FAQ
Can such a small peptide as KPV be resolved next to BPC-157?
Yes. KPV elutes early and BPC-157 much later under our method, so the two are well separated; each is identified against its own reference standard and quantified on its own calibration. The method is chosen so the early KPV peak is clear of the solvent front.
My split isn't 10/10 — can you still test it?
Yes. The 10/10 split is only the most common label; the blend preset pre-fills it when you order and you edit it to match your vial. Each active is verified against whatever your label declares.
Do I get one certificate or two?
One. A blend vial produces a single certificate with one verification code, on which each declared active has its own identity, purity, content, and retention-time row.
