What KLOW is

KLOW is GLOW plus KPV: a trade name for one vial carrying GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500, and KPV, most commonly labeled as a 50/10/10/10 mg split (80 mg total — which is why it often circulates as 'KLOW80'). Four actives make it the most demanding blend we routinely run. Two of the four are difficult on their own terms: GHK-Cu is a copper-complexed tripeptide that must be prepped acid-free (acid strips the copper), and KPV is a tiny, very polar tripeptide with no aromatic residues that barely retains on a generic gradient. Verifying a KLOW vial means resolving all four compounds as separate peaks and quantifying each against its own certified reference standard — a single number cannot describe a four-compound mixture. The certificate leads with the name on your label and reports every active on its own row.

Why get your KLOW independently tested

  • Four-way split verification: the label declares a per-active recipe (typically 50/10/10/10 mg). Each active gets its own identity, purity, and content row, so one short or absent component is visible instead of averaged away.
  • The KPV line is the easiest to shortcut: a barely-retained tripeptide that a generic method can't even see properly is the component most likely to be missing without anyone noticing. We run the polar-optimized program that resolves KPV as a real peak before quantifying it.
  • GHK-Cu integrity: the copper complex is fragile — acid exposure strips it. Acid-free prep, the expected blue appearance, and a correct GHK-Cu peak together say the complex survived.
  • Wrong-recipe risk: KLOW and GLOW differ by exactly one active. A 'KLOW' vial that is actually GLOW (no KPV) is a real and cheap substitution — per-component identity settles it.

What we measure on KLOW

A KLOW certificate reports, for EACH of the four actives, by reversed-phase HPLC with UV/diode-array detection: identity (retention-time and UV-spectral match against that compound's own certified reference standard), chromatographic purity as area percent, content in milligrams per vial, and retention time — one vial, one certificate, one verification code, four fully-reported compounds. Appearance (blue when the GHK-Cu copper complex is intact) and optional pH are vial-level lines.

Every result is issued as a certificate of analysis you — or anyone you forward it to — can verify cryptographically. Reporting identity, purity, and milligram content is the point: a vial can be pure and still underfilled, so we report all three. Our scope — stated plainly

Testing is RP-HPLC-UV against certified reference standards for each declared active — not mass spectrometry. KPV carries no aromatic residues, so its identity rests on retention-time match under a polar-optimized method plus the low-wavelength spectrum, stated as such. The certificate reports the actives declared on your label; it does not de-novo identify unlabeled compounds. KMD Analytical is an independent laboratory; we do not perform sterility, endotoxin, heavy-metal, or residual-solvent testing.

KLOW testing — FAQ

What's the difference between KLOW and GLOW on a certificate?

One row: KPV. KLOW is GLOW's three actives plus KPV, and the certificate reports each of the four separately. That also makes the certificate the cleanest way to know which blend you actually received — a 'KLOW' vial with no KPV peak is GLOW wearing the wrong label.

My label says KLOW80 — is that the same thing?

Yes. 'KLOW80' is the common shorthand for the 80 mg total of the usual 50/10/10/10 split. When you order, the KLOW preset pre-fills that split and you edit any line to match your vial's actual label.

Can you really quantify KPV inside a four-compound mixture?

Yes, with the right method. KPV elutes very early and needs a polar-optimized gradient to separate as a real peak; the other three actives resolve at their own retention times. Each compound is quantified against its own certified reference standard. What we state honestly: KPV identity is a retention-time and low-wavelength UV match — it has no aromatic residues, so there is no 280 nm signature, and it is not a mass-spectrometry confirmation.

Do I get one certificate or four?

One certificate, one verification code, four fully-reported actives. One physical vial never becomes multiple certificates — that one-to-one link is part of what keeps our verification system honest.
