What Tesamorelin / Ipamorelin is
Tesamorelin / Ipamorelin is a two-active vial most commonly labelled as an 11/6 mg split. Tesamorelin is a 44-residue analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone carrying an N-terminal trans-3-hexenoyl group; Ipamorelin is a five-residue peptide that elutes far earlier. The size gap is what makes the blend analytically clean — the two peaks are well apart — but also what makes Tesamorelin the active most exposed to synthesis-related impurities, and Ipamorelin the one easiest to under-dose. Each is quantified against its own certified reference standard; a single purity figure for the vial would tell you nothing about either. Our certificate leads with the name on your label and prints the two actives beneath it, each with its own results row.
Why get your Tesamorelin / Ipamorelin independently tested
- Split verification on an uneven recipe: an 11/6 label is easy to fill as 11/3. Each active gets its own identity, purity, and content line, so a short Ipamorelin cannot hide behind a full Tesamorelin peak.
- Long-sequence purity: 44 residues by solid-phase synthesis produces truncation and deletion species that elute near the parent. Tesamorelin's purity as area percent reports how much is the full-length peptide.
- Substitution risk on the expensive active: Tesamorelin is the costly component. Identity against a certified Tesamorelin standard confirms the vial holds it and not a cheaper GHRH analog such as Sermorelin.
- Label mass versus peptide mass: across two actives, counter-ion and water weight accumulate. Per-active net-peptide content separates peptide from packaging for each compound.
What we measure on Tesamorelin / Ipamorelin
A Tesamorelin / Ipamorelin certificate reports, for EACH of the two actives, by reversed-phase HPLC with diode-array detection at 214 nm: identity (retention-time and UV-spectral match against that compound's own certified reference standard), chromatographic purity as area percent, content in milligrams per vial, and retention time — one vial, one certificate, one verification code, two fully reported compounds. Appearance and optional pH are reported at the vial level.
Every result is issued as a certificate of analysis you — or anyone you forward it to — can verify cryptographically. Testing is RP-HPLC-UV against certified reference standards for each declared active — not mass spectrometry. The certificate reports the actives declared on your label; it does not de-novo identify unlabelled compounds. KMD Analytical is an independent laboratory; we do not perform sterility, endotoxin, heavy-metal, or residual-solvent testing.

Can you tell Tesamorelin from Sermorelin in a blend?
Yes. Tesamorelin is a longer sequence with an N-terminal hexenoyl group and elutes at a different retention time under our method. Identity is judged against the Tesamorelin standard; a vial that matches Sermorelin instead is reported as not conforming.
My split isn't 11/6 — can you still test it?
Yes. The 11/6 split is only the most common label; the blend preset pre-fills it when you order and you edit it to match your vial. Each active is verified against whatever your label declares.
Do I get one certificate or two?
One. A blend vial produces a single certificate with one verification code, on which each declared active has its own identity, purity, content, and retention-time row.
