SLU-PP-332 Testing & Verification
Independent, third-party analysis of mail-in SLU-PP-332 vials by HPLC-UV — confirming identity against a reference material, reporting chromatographic purity, and quantifying milligrams per vial for a compound that is not a peptide at all.
What SLU-PP-332 is
SLU-PP-332 is a small synthetic molecule — not a peptide — that arrives at the lab through the same research-chemical channels as the peptides on our panel, so we test it. It is UV-active and behaves well on a reversed-phase column, but it needs its own method rather than the peptide gradient, and its identity is judged against a reference material for the compound rather than a peptide standard. As a newer research compound with no approval anywhere, it is sold with no regulated manufacturing behind it, in a form (often a capsule or a powder) where the label claim and the actual content can diverge widely.
Why get your SLU-PP-332 independently tested
- It is not a peptide, and that matters: a vendor's peptide COA method, wavelength, and standard do not apply to SLU-PP-332. A certificate for this compound should say it was run on a method fit for a small molecule — ours does.
- Content against label: SLU-PP-332 is frequently supplied as a dry powder or in capsules where fill accuracy is poor. The content assay reports milligrams of the compound per vial against the label claim.
- Purity of a synthetic small molecule: synthesis intermediates and related impurities are UV-active and resolve from the main peak. Chromatographic purity as area percent reports how much of the material is the intended compound.
- Identity when the market is new: a documented retention-time and UV-spectral match against a named reference material is the only identity evidence most buyers of a new compound will ever get.
What we measure on SLU-PP-332
Every SLU-PP-332 certificate reports identity (retention-time and UV-spectral match against the reference material), chromatographic purity as area percent, and content in milligrams per vial, by reversed-phase HPLC with diode-array detection at the wavelength that suits the compound rather than the 214 nm peptide wavelength. The certificate states the method and wavelength used.
Every result is issued as a certificate of analysis you — or anyone you forward it to — can verify cryptographically. Reporting identity, purity, and milligram content is the point: a vial can be pure and still underfilled, so we report all three. More on purity vs. net-peptide content and how to read a peptide COA.
Our scope — stated plainly
SLU-PP-332 is a small molecule tested on its own HPLC-UV method, against a reference material that may need to be sourced before analysis (which can affect turnaround). Identity is a chromatographic and spectral match, not a structural confirmation by mass spectrometry or NMR. KMD Analytical is an independent laboratory; we do not perform sterility, endotoxin, heavy-metal, or residual-solvent testing.
KMD is an independent RP-HPLC-UV lab. We do not run LC-MS / mass-spec, sterility, endotoxin, or heavy-metal testing. If your job needs a capability we don't have, we'll say so.
SLU-PP-332 testing — FAQ
SLU-PP-332 isn't a peptide — why is it on a peptide lab's panel?
Because it arrives through the same channels and the same instrument answers the same three questions: is it the compound, how pure is it, and how much is there. It runs on a small-molecule method rather than the peptide gradient, and the certificate says so.
Can you test capsules or tablets?
Tell us the dosage form when you order. We can extract from a capsule fill and report content per unit as received; the certificate states what was tested. Sealed vials remain the cleanest sample.
What does identity mean for a small molecule on HPLC-UV?
A retention-time and UV-spectrum match against the reference material under our conditions. That is strong evidence for a UV-active compound with a characteristic spectrum, but it is not a structural proof — that would take mass spectrometry or NMR, which we do not perform.
