What Reta/Cagri is
Reta/Cagri is a two-active vial carrying Retatrutide and Cagrilintide together, most commonly labelled as a 5/5 mg split. Both are long, lipidated, synthetically demanding peptides — Retatrutide a GLP-1/GIP/glucagon triple agonist, Cagrilintide an amylin analog — and both are among the most expensive compounds on the research market, which makes this the blend where a short or substituted component costs the most. They resolve as separate peaks under our method and each is quantified against its own certified reference standard; a single purity figure for the vial would tell you nothing about either. Our certificate leads with the name on your label and prints the two actives beneath it, each with its own results row.
Why get your Reta/Cagri independently tested
- Two high-value actives, two chances to be shorted: each gets its own identity, purity, and content line, so a vial that is all Retatrutide and no Cagrilintide — or short on both — is reported that way.
- Substitution inside the GLP family: a cheaper lipidated peptide can stand in for either active on a label. Identity against separate Retatrutide and Cagrilintide standards, with the neighbouring standards on hand, confirms which compounds are present.
- Underfilling at 5 mg each: small claims on expensive peptides are where fill error hurts most. The per-active net-peptide assay reports each compound's measured milligrams against its declared share.
- Synthesis-related impurities on long lipidated sequences: truncations, deletions, and incomplete side-chain conjugation show as additional peaks near each parent. Per-active purity as area percent reports how clean each one is.
What we measure on Reta/Cagri
A Reta/Cagri certificate reports, for EACH of the two actives, by reversed-phase HPLC with diode-array detection at 214 nm: identity (retention-time and UV-spectral match against that compound's own certified reference standard), chromatographic purity as area percent, content in milligrams per vial, and retention time — one vial, one certificate, one verification code, two fully reported compounds. Appearance and optional pH are reported at the vial level.
Every result is issued as a certificate of analysis you — or anyone you forward it to — can verify cryptographically. Our scope — stated plainly
Testing is RP-HPLC-UV against certified reference standards for each declared active — not mass spectrometry. The certificate reports the actives declared on your label; it does not de-novo identify unlabelled compounds. KMD Analytical is an independent laboratory; we do not perform sterility, endotoxin, heavy-metal, or residual-solvent testing.
KMD is an independent RP-HPLC-UV lab. We do not run LC-MS / mass-spec, sterility, endotoxin, or heavy-metal testing. If your job needs a capability we don't have, we'll say so.
Reta/Cagri testing — FAQ
Do Retatrutide and Cagrilintide separate on HPLC?
Yes. They are different sequences with different lipid attachments and elute at distinct retention times under our method; each is identified against its own reference standard and quantified on its own calibration.
My split isn't 5/5 — can you still test it?
Yes. The 5/5 split is only the most common label; the blend preset pre-fills it when you order and you edit it to match your vial. Each active is verified against whatever your label declares.
Do I get one certificate or two?
One. A blend vial produces a single certificate with one verification code, on which each declared active has its own identity, purity, content, and retention-time row.
